![]() This case went on for one year, so i don't think they would put all this effort in, if it was just a random name they would later throw away. The first 3 letters are hard to see, but "fall" is very clear to see.įirst is Arena, Daggerfall, Morrowind, Oblivion and at the end is Redfall.ĮDIT: I forgot to add, that Bethesda also had some copyright trouble going on with an Author who wrote a book called Redfall. ^ yeah, if you look very close at zoomed in pictures, the last book title clearly reads Redfall. Bethesda will most likely explain it all, but till then we have to be patient i guess. ^^ I agree, the combination of Daggerfall and Redguard is very unlikely xD the other ideas sound interesting, but maybe it doesn't even have to be necessarily be related to the color red. If its the best name is debatable, but it will probably be explained when the time has come. Not sure if you can just use a trademark as placeholder and since they had this name way back in the 90s it could very well be the actual name. In 2018 Bethesda confirmed that Starfield is a real thing. but we're checking the tech: 'Is this going to handle the things we want to do in that game?' Every game will have some new suites of technology so 'Elder Scrolls 6' will have some additions on to Creation Engine 2 that that game is going to require," Howard told The Telegraph.^^ I mean Starfield was first discovered in 2013, when people digged into the trademarks too and people started speculating. "It's good to think of 'The Elder Scrolls 6' as still being in a design. Bethesda Game Studios’ owner ZeniMax came to an agreement with publisher BookBreeze after a trademark battle over the word. So, while "The Elder Scrolls 6" might still be in design, the developers are noting how the tech works with "Starfield" and if it can handle what they want to accomplish with "The Elder Scrolls 6." The Elder Scrolls 6 Redfall trademark dispute was amicably resolved. The vast majority of our development work is on 'Starfield' right now but everybody works on everything so the projects kind of intertwine," he said of the two titles. Howard claims that this new engine is "built for both." The development of "Starfield" and "The Elder Scrolls 6" are related because of their shared technology, Creation Engine 2. Bethesda is technically working on both at the same time, though. ![]()
